Jo Chee

Jo holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy, Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) affiliated. Her approach is Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy, blending CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Gestalt, psychodynamics, body work, developmental psychology, existential psychotherapy and a person-centered approach. Emotions and experiences are explored from a holistic viewpoint.

Jo believes in psychoeducation and nourishment; enabling and empowering others to understand and narrate their own lives. The aim of therapy is to provide a safe space for clients to achieve autonomy at their own pace and on their own terms. No two sessions are the same for clients, the work involved for each person varies and is subjective depending on the individual. Sessions are reviewed after a few weeks to evaluate the process and clients are encouraged to feedback their experience.
